No problem. That's the beauty of Allied 24/7 - we have no minimum requirements. So if you want just a little extra spending money every now and then, we can accommodate you.

To qualify for health insurance, you must work at least 32 hours per week. Other perks and promotions have different requirements. Our Branch Coordinators can provide additional details on what's being offered.
Our current insurance provider is Aetna. For specific details, our Branch Coordinator will assist you once the registration process is complete.
We cover all clinical areas in most, if not all, of the area hospitals. Our branch coordinators can let you know what might be available at your favorite hospitals.

Travel FAQs

A copy of your paperwork with your selected start date, unit, and shift will be sent to the facility for their review. A time will also be established for a telephone interview between you and the healthcare facility.
You and the facility will decide if the assignment is right for you. If the facility extends a request for you and you decide to accept it, your recruiter will confirm your start date, shift, unit and salary. Shortly thereafter, you will receive a confirmation package in the mail with information pertaining to your assignment.
Allied 24/7 offers various contract lengths from 8 to 52 weeks. We also offer bonuses to therapists who are happy to commit to a longer contract although you are under no obligation to do so. The choice is always yours.
At the end of your contract you can anticipate either an offer to extend your contract at the current facility, to select another location, or to return home and let us know when you wish to travel again in the future.
Pay rates depend on the facility and location. Allied 24/7 is committed to offering you the best rates available in the industry
Yes. If you are flexible about travel assignments we will always be able to find a position that suits you.
We provide many options including one-bedroom or studio apartments, including furniture and long term stay facilities.
Yes. We can arrange accommodation to suit your needs. If you have a pet we will find accommodation that will accept pets, however pet deposits vary and will be your responsibility. Our landlords will refund you the deposit upon completion of your assignment if the landlord agrees that the accommodation has been returned clean and well maintained.
Yes. We will give you a generous utility allowance if negotiated as part of your complete compensation package.
Yes. We reimburse mileage for travel from your permanent residence to your assignment, up to $500 if negotiated as part of your package.
Yes. If you are able, or prefer to make your own housing arrangements Allied 24/7 will provide you with a subsidy equivalent to the cost of our accommodation package. This will be paid to you along with your pay each week. Your Allied 24/7 recruiter will give you the exact amount if this is your preferred solution to your housing needs.
Yes. You will receive subsidy payments if you make the arrangements yourself, regardless of where you live.
Yes. We offer just about any variation of shifts ranging from 8, 10 and 12 hours, depending on the facility.
If your documentation is in order and license is current for the state to which you're traveling we can place you within 5 working days.
Yes. If the facility makes an offer and you would like to become a full-time employee, you just complete the remainder of your contract with Allied 24/7 and the facility will negociate directly with Allied 24/7 to have you start.
Yes. We think you deserve a reward for completing your assignment, so all of our therapists are eligible and are negotiated at the beginning of your assignment.
Yes. Allied 24/7 rewards bonuses of $500! You will receive a cash bonus for every health care professional you refer when they complete 13 weeks of an assignment.
Yes. Allied 24/7 has a comprehensive salary and benefits package including: health, dental and life insurance; free housing or an equivalent housing subsidy; travel reimbursement; completion and referral bonuses; direct deposit, same day pay and continuing education allowance.
Most benefits start after completion of 30 days from your first day of work.
Yes. You may add your spouse or children to your insurance, and we will deduct the additional cost from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis.
Yes, we provide an optional annual continuing education program.
Your resume will start the process, however by completing our application form you ensure that all the information our client facility needs, is available in a format that makes it easy for them to fully understand your skills and background.
No. Only once you have accepted an assignment, does our client facility require a physical before you start the assignment (or a copy of one in the last year)
Allied 24/7 requires two current (and above average) references from recent previous employers, before we can employ you. You have three options regarding reference letters, 1) forward any that you have to us, along with authorization for us to contact the referees for confirmation of the contents; 2) sign and send your reference letters to your employers, and ask them to return them to us; 3) authorize us to contact your referees directly and obtain reference letters from them.
We will not contact your current employer without your permission.
Yes. You need a license for every state in which you work. Every state has different requirements - just call us and we will give you the contact information for the state's Board of Nursing and then you can request an application.
As your employer, Allied 24/7 withholds your taxes; you are not an independent contractor. At the end of the year, you will receive a W-2 form, for every state in which you have worked.
